BURLINGTON – Representatives of KCDM – Know Christ’s Divine Mercy 98.3 FM will kick off a fundraising campaign for the Catholic radio station at Burlington and West Burlington parishes the weekend of Aug. 10-11.
Joe Spillane said the station aims to raise $51,000 to move its studio from the aging, former St. Patrick School building to Notre Dame Junior/Senior High School in Burlington and update technology and equipment.
KCDM started broadcasting in December 2003 after Pope John Paul II called for new forms of evangelization. Most of the station’s programming comes from EWTN Global Catholic Network.
The station hopes to be in its new home by Christmas.
