Concert, liturgy workshop with David Haas

BETTENDORF —Internationally known musician and liturgist David Haas will offer a live concert Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at St. John Vianney Church. He will connect his music to the good news of Vatican II. Cost is $15 (students and seniors), $20 (adults) or $25 (at the door).
Haas will lead a liturgy workshop the following day, Sept. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at St. John Vianney. Liturgists, church musicians and choirs are invited to explore music of Vatican II. He will share his compositions and insight from 40 years of creating sacred music. Lunch and handouts will be provided. Fee is $20 (students) or $25 (adults).
