Connected in faith

Dear Friends in Christ,
At our baptism we were made part of the Body of Christ. As adopted children of God, we are brothers and sisters to each other. We are connected in faith, made one in the Spirit.
The Annual Diocesan Appeal helps to strengthen our unity as the Body of Christ in so many areas. Our diocese educates seminarians and deacon candidates who, in turn, serve in our parishes. We help connect people of different cultures as we hire a Coordinator of Multicultural Ministry. Through our youth ministry program our young people deepen their lives of faith and become more involved in the Church.
As the Year of Faith draws to a close, hopefully we have renewed joy in believing and an enthusiasm for communicating our faith. I now ask that you prayerfully consider your gift to the 2013 Annual Diocesan Appeal. It is only together with God’s grace that we can respond to our baptismal call. I am deeply grateful for your continued generosity and pray that we may all continue to experience God’s transforming grace in our lives.

Sincerely yours in Christ,
Sinceramente suyo en Cristo,
