Youth ministries at St. John Vianney Parish in Bettendorf and Holy Family Parish in Davenport are participating in a non-profit group fundraiser now through Sept. 16.
Yourtopia, a frozen yogurt lounge at 2571 53rd Ave., Bettendorf, has 10 groups vying for $2,000. The group with the most votes will win.
The first non-profit group to get 2,000 people to walk into Yourtopia and vote wins the prize. No purchase is necessary.
Part of the profits at Yourtopia are donated back to the community. It believes in giving back to the community.
Earlier this year Yourtopia raised $4,415.46 for a Kids Against Hunger-QC Kids fundraiser through St. John Vianney Parish.
St. John Vianney’s group would use $2,000 to help needy families at Christmas. Holy Family would use money to offset expenses for the upcoming National Catholic Youth Conference.
