Fourth degree KC assemblies receive charters

Two new assemblies of Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus accepted their  charters during a ceremony last month in Camache.
The presentations took place Sept. 17 at Church of the Visitation in Camanche during which three Fourth Degree Assemblies’ officers were installed and two assemblies received charters. Mass was celebrated by Father Richard Okumu, pastor of the Camanche parish. Father Robert Harness, pastor of Holy Family Parish, Davenport, concelebrated.
Officers were installed for the three Fourth Degree Assemblies in the Daven­port Diocese: Loras Assembly No. 260 of Davenport, Dr. C. F. Barrett Assembly No. 3413 of Holy Family Church, Davenport, and Msgr. Leo J. Feeney Assembly No. 3444 consisting of members from councils in Clinton, Camanche, DeWitt, LeClaire and Long Grove.
Former District Master Henry Fullick presented charters to Dr. C. F. Barrett No. 3414 and Msgr. Leo J. Feeney No. 3444.
Fullick conducted the installation ceremony and was supported by 85 Knights, their ladies and guests.
