Davenport – A healing Mass will be celebrated Oct. 18 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Confessions start at 6 p.m, praise music at 6:30 p.m and Mass at 7:15 p.m. All are welcome.
Davenport – A Soaking With A Purpose prayer meeting will be held at Eagles’ Wings on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. The evening includes praise and worship, Scripture meditation and soaking in God’s presence.
Iowa City — People meet to pray the rosary and receive Communion at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Melrose Meadows Retirement Community. All Catholics are welcome.

Davenport – The Grief Support Group at St. Anthony Parish started a nine-week program on Oct. 1. The group meets on Tuesdays from 3:30–5 p.m. at the school library at the far end of the church parking lot. People of any faith background who are grieving the loss of a loved one are invited. LeClaire – Our Lady of the River Parish’s annual Octoberfest will be Oct. 19 beginning with a Polka Mass at 5 p.m. in the church. Lyle Beaver will play the accordion. A German meal will follow in the parish hall. All are welcome to the meal. A free-will offering will be accepted.
