EDUCATIONAL
Burlington – The CAFÉ (Catholic Adult Fellowship Evening) will be open in the Notre Dame School cafeteria at 6:45 p.m. Nov. 6 as Dana Atkins explores “Grief and the Holidays.”
Davenport — A pro-life workshop and information session is Nov. 16 beginning with Mass at 8:30 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church. General sessions will take place in Denning Hall. Cost is $5 for lunch and $10 for materials. Babysitting donations are accepted. Reserva­tions can be sent to Jeanne Wonio, Diocese of Davenport, 780 W. Central Park Ave., Davenport, Iowa, 52804, by Nov. 6. Include name, address, email address, phone number and parish.
Davenport — A Biblical Walk through the Mass to enhance participation in the Mass will be offered the first Thursday of each month from November through April in the St. Anthony Parish Center. The service is from 6:30-8 p.m. each month. The Adult Faith Formation Committee is offering the series so that people can know what Catholics say and  do each week at Mass and gain understanding of the Mass. The walk is a five-part DVD series and will be led by various people from the faith formation committee.
Davenport – Chad Pregracke, founder of Living Lands and Waters, will speak at St. Ambrose University Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Rogalski Center. “Helping to Clean American’s Rivers” will include stories of Pregracke’s childhood on the Mississippi River and how he came to clean up “one river and one piece of garbage at a time.”

LITURGY/PRAYER
Davenport — A healing Mass will be celebrated Friday,   Nov. 15,   at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Confessions start at 6 p.m, praise Music at 6:30 p.m and  Mass at 7:15 p.m. All are welcome.
Davenport —  A healing Mass will be celebrated Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. at Eagles’ Wings.
Oskaloosa – A healing Mass will be celebrated Nov. 6 at St. Mary Church. Confessions are at 6 p.m., rosary at 6:30 p.m. and Mass at 7 p.m. Adoration, praise and worship follow Mass.

RETREATS
Wheatland – Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat welcomes people to the following events. On Nov. 3 at 5 p.m. is a Taize’ Vigil Service, supper following. Freewill offering. On Nov. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. is a Grief Recovery Retreat with Mary Hopkins, OP. Fee: $20. On Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to noon is a Holy Land Ranger Rosary Workshop with Father Bill Kneemiller. SOCIALS
Camanche — Church of the Visitation’s Altar and Rosary holiday bazaar will take place Nov. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The event includes a quilt raffle, bake sale, silent auction, holiday items, local arts and crafts and lunch of homemade soups and hot sandwiches.
Davenport — Our Lady of Victory Parish’s Christmas Carousel Bazaar will be at John  F. Kennedy Catholic School Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event includes gifts, crafts, ornaments, fall items, a candy shop and bake sale, toys, an American Doll raffle and raffle for cash prizes. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
Davenport – Sacred Heart Cathedral will hold a pancake breakfast with French toast, eggs and more, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, after 9 a.m. Mass Nov. 10. Proceeds benefit the Knights and Sacred Heart Cathedral’s building plans.
Davenport – The Assumption High School class of 2014 is hosting a spaghetti supper Nov. 3 from 4-7 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
Davenport – Quad Cities Interfaith is holding its fifth annual fundraising breakfast on Nov. 7 in the Rogalski Center at St. Ambrose University. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the event will run from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Admission is free, but reservations are required by calling (563) 322-4910.
Davenport – St. Alphonsus Parish’s annual craft show is Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2626 Boies Ave. There will be a raffle for a queen-size cathedral windows quilt.  Handmade lap quilts, stained glass, greeting cards, jewelry, floral arrangements, candles, baked goods and more will be sold. There will be cinnamon rolls and coffee for breakfast. Lunch will cost $5. Call Pat Sigler at (563) 343-5902 with questions or to be in the craft show.
Davenport – St. Mary Parish welcomes people to its annual bazaar the weekend of Nov. 9-10 at the church hall. Saturday is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $7. Sunday is from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with an authentic Mexican breakfast for $7.
There will be a bake sale, raffle, trash and treasure, vintage aprons and linens, knitting and sewing items, and a Christmas booth.
Davenport – Our Lady of Victory Youth Ministry is hosting a family bus trip to downtown Chicago on Nov. 30. There are 56 seats available and the cost per seat is $25. This trip is open to anyone. To sign up, contact Tommy Fallon at davolvym@diodav.org or (563) 391-8384.

Keota – Holy Trinity Parish’s harvest dinner with turkey and ham is Nov. 3 at St. Mary’s Parish Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Homemade candy will be for sale. A raffle will take place. Tickets are available at the door.
Knoxville – St. Anthony Parish’s fall dinner is Nov. 3 from noon to 2 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults, $4 for children ages 4 to 10 and free for children 3 and younger.
Nichols – St. Mary Parish’s auction and luncheon is Nov. 3. Silent auction will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; regular auction follows. Doors open at the parish hall at 11:30 a.m. for lunch of chicken and noodles, sandwiches and more.
North English – St. Joseph Parish’s Altar & Rosary Society will be sponsoring a salad luncheon and silent auction Nov. 9 at 11:30 a.m. in the church hall.  Bidding will follow the luncheon.
Ottumwa — St. Patrick Parish’s fall dinner is Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $8 for persons 10 and older, $4 for children ages 4-9, and free for children 3 and younger.  A quilt raffle will take place at 1 p.m.
