Religious freedom should trump all else

To the Editor:
In reference to Frank Wessling’s editorial “Affordable Care Act: it’s about social justice” of Nov. 7, I wonder exactly who it is that is “resisting and manipulating” and “looking for political advantage.” Hint: It wasn’t the Republicans.
What part of “social justice” includes our being forced to pay for contraception and abortion in our health care and other not-universally-needed care like children’s dental, and alcohol and drug rehab?
Why was there no mention of the horrendous ways that our religious freedom is being trampled upon? That should trump all else.
