Davenport — The Sisters of Humility will host Iowa State Senator Rob Hogg who will speak on climate change. The talk is April 26 at 7 p.m. at Humility of Mary Center, 820 W. Central Park Ave., Davenport.
“Climate Change and Sustainability: Defining Challenges of our Generation” is free and open to the public.
“We did not ask for this problem, but now we urgently need to act to stop the buildup of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere and to prepare for the climate-related disasters of the future.”
Sen. Hogg has spoken across Iowa and the country about the urgent need for climate action.
