BURLINGTON — Even though people may have hurt you, you can be free from grudges, resentment and self-defeating habits. Forgiving can stop the pain and bring hope. You are invited on a healing journey through a practical retreat, “Joy of Forgiveness.”
The event is May 3 at St. Paul Church Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sandy Hoenig, a certified counselor and conflict resolution facilitator, will lead the retreat. Lunch will be served. Cost is $10.
Registration deadline is April 28. Mail names and phone numbers of registrants to Joy of Forgiveness, P.O. Box 415, West Burlington, IA 52655. Include a check payable to Adult Faith Formation.
