To the Editor:
What a tremendous “Stations of the Cross” you published in the March 20 edition of The Catholic Messenger. The emphasis the Franciscans put on Christ’s suffering for us is distinctive. And what an inspiration to use stations from the churches in the Diocese of Davenport.
Have you given any thought making a booklet of them, just the size of the photographs in the “Messenger” with the meditation and instructions (prayers after each station)? Maybe the Franciscans would agree. I don’t know what copyright would be involved with the churches.
At any rate, I am going to cut these out and mount them on heavier paper and continue to use them.
