To the Editor:
I wish to express my complete agreement with Frank Wessling’s editorial “The Gun View” (The Catholic Messenger, May 1, 2014).
The idea that people will be allowed to take loaded weapons into Atlanta’s airport — the busiest airport in the country — is so crazy it boggles the mind.
After the Newtown tragedy, what type of disaster will it take to wake up U.S. citizens? The NRA has apparently taken control of our government, and sensible citizens are not objecting.
Wake up America!
