War against abortion rages on

To the Editor:
The recent T.V. National Memorial Concert in Washington, D.C., as always, was a beautiful tribute to our Armed Forces. I congratulate the people who put the show together every year, who make the speeches and the wonderfully talented singers who performed.
As I write this, I am still moved remembering the stories they told of the men who were wounded and shattered, and of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect us and our country.
I can’t help but think of the war of abortion — and it is a war! Killing unborn children is a terrible sin.
Sin has become justified, legalized and glorified, but it is still a “sin.” We have become blind to sin and its effects. Aren’t we supposed to be the land of the free and the brave? What has happened to our country? Why do we continue to allow abortions to happen? Why?
