Davenport —  Eagles’ Wings will host a Soaking With a Purpose prayer meeting on July 25 at 7 p.m.
LITURGY/PRAYER
Davenport — The Sisters of Humility invite the general public to pray with them at 11:40 a.m. Wednesdays during a special Mass for peace. It will be celebrated in the Magnificat Chapel at the Humility of Mary Center, 820 W. Central Park Ave.
Grand Mound — Ss. Philip & James Church is hosting its next Healing Mass July 27 at 5 p.m. Guests can also participate in eucharistic adoration from 3-4 p.m., worship music from 4:30-5 p.m., and a potluck at 6:30 p.m. Future Healing Masses will take place the last Sunday of the month. Rock Island, Ill. — The Saint John XXIII fraternity of the Secular Franciscans meets at 2 p.m. the first Sunday of each month at Trinity Hospital, 2701 17th St. For more information, call Kent Ferris in Mus-catine at (563) 299-6107.
Iowa City — Young Adult Catholics (Y.A.C) meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 7:30-9 p.m. at St. Patrick Church in the Zaga Room downstairs.
Bettendorf — Deacon John Weber is offering a Scripture class on the Gospel of St. Mark. Classes are held at Our Lady of Lourdes in Bettendorf in the parish center on Saturday mornings from 9-10:30 a.m. Classes began May 24.
RETREATS
Wheatland — Our Lady of the Prairie is hosting forgiveness program with Father Bill Kneemiller Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. – noon. Cost is $8, and includes lunch.

Davenport — The Father Ken Martin Golf Outing will take place Aug. 27 at 12:30 p.m. at Emeis Golf Course. Dinner to follow at 5:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Davenport — Ass­um­p­tion High School is hosting a Century Club membership and steak fry Aug. 23 in the Assumption courtyard. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. The event is free to all Century Club members. Yearly membership for Century Club members is $100, or $200 for gold membership. Goose Lake —Assumption & St. Patrick’s parish in Charlotte is hosting a beef & pork dinner with all the trimmings, including beverage and dessert on Aug. 10 from 3-7p.m. The event will be held at the Millennium Ballroom in Goose Lake, Iowa. Carry-outs are available. Cost is $10/ adults, $5.50/4-12 years and under 4 free. Tickets available at the door the day of the event. There will also be a gift basket silent auction, children’s games, bingo and a country store.
Polishville/Brighton — St. Mary’s Polishville annual bazaar will take place at the Polishville Community Center Aug. 3. A grilled chicken or pork loin dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $8/adults, $4.50 5-12 years, and under 5 free.
