Plans are underway for an all-alumni reunion for the Clinton Catholic schools. Karen Witt, Dev-elopment Director for Prince of Peace Catholic School and member of the Clinton Catholic School Alumni Association, has announced that the “Shamrockin’ Reunion” will be held on Sept. 6. The evening will begin with 5 p.m. Mass at Prince of Peace Parish, Clinton, followed by a reunion dinner at the Eagle Point Park lodge at 6:30 p.m. Witt comments that most classes celebrate reunions every five years and that this event will recognize those classes from the former and current Clinton Catholic schools which include Our Lady of Angels, St. Mary’s High School, Mt. St. Clare Academy, Mater Dei High School and Prince of Peace College Preparatory, and Prince of Peace Catholic School. To date, five classes have committed to attending the event and Witt is hopeful that more will decide to make this event their reunion destination as well. Class photos will be taken and will be available for purchase that evening.
All alumni of any year and Friends of Catholic Education are invited. The cost of the catered dinner is $25 per person. The deadline for dinner reservations is Aug. 15. To register or for more information, call Karen Witt (563) 242-1663 or go to school webpage www.prince.pvt.k12.ia.us.
