Davenport –Eagles Wings is hoting a Generational Healing Day Oct. 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will receive a better understanding of the need for healing of the generations.  Prayer will be offered and the day will conclude with a Mass for healing of their family tree.  The registration packet includes a questionnaire and family history to fill out ahead of time.  The information is confidential unless guests wish for it to be shared.  Registration is $65.  Bring a sack lunch.  To register please call 563-324-7263 or email  marcia@eagleswings.ws

Davenport — St. Mary Church is hosting its annual bazaar at the parish hall Nov. 8-9. On Nov. 8, it will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost of the lunch is $7. On Nov. 9, the bazaar will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with an authentic Mexican breakfast served for $7.
Davenport — St. Paul the Apostle Altar and Rosary is hosting “Pies and Presents” Oct. 25 at the parish’s Denning Hall from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 60 pies will be available, as will two cash raffles and a raffle for a customizable corn hole game set. Customizable pie pans can be ordered by calling Debbie at (563) 528-9850. More than 30 home party vendors will be on-hand. Cinnamon rolls will be served for breakfast and pulled pork sandwiches will be served for lunch.
Fort Madison — Holy Trinity Catholic High School is hosting its 40th annual God’s Portion Day celebration Oct. 25-26. A fish fry will take place Oct. 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. Events Oct. 26 include: hot breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.; baked goods, country store and knick knack room from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Mass in the gym at 8:30 a.m.; live and silent auctions at 10 a.m.; spirit booth 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Drive 4 UR School 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; student presentations at 1 p.m.; kids’ zone 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and raffle drawing at 7 p.m.
Keokuk — Trunk or Treat will take place Oct. 30 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the All Saints Parish parking lot. Parishioners will decorate the trunk of their car and hand out candy.
Keota — Holy Trinity Parish is hosting a Harvest Dinner Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the parish center. Cost of the turkey and ham dinner is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 13. Quilt raffle, door prizes, candy booth.
Nichols — St. Mary Parish is hosting its annual auction and luncheon Nov. 2, with a silent auction from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a regular auction to follow. Lunch will be served in the parish hall at 11:30 a.m.
North English — St. Joseph Altar & Rosary will be sponsoring a Silent Auction/Salad Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 8.
Ottumwa — St. Patrick Parish is hosting its annual Fall Dinner Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $10 for persons 10 and older, $4 for children ages 4 through 9, and free for children 3 and younger. A quilt raffle will take place at 1 p.m.
Richmond — Holy Trinity is hosting its fall dinner Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pork loin, beef and noodles and chicken dinners will be served; adults pay $10, children 5 to 10 years old pay $3, children younger than 5 years old eat free.
