Pulitzer prize-winning journalist to speak at SAU

Davenport — Sheryl Wu Dunn, one of Newsweek’s 150 “Women who will shake the world” who earned a Pulitzer Prize for her coverage of the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, will speak at St. Ambrose Univer-sity’s Galvin Fine Arts Center Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. The topic of her lecture is “Half the Sky; turning oppression into opportunity for women worldwide.”
The event is part of SAU’s yearlong series “Exploring Gender.”
