Catholic trivia: Tony Melendez, the armless guitarist who is coming to Iowa on March 6 and 7, has performed in Iowa before. In 1988 or 1989, I think, he gave a performance in Oskaloosa. My husband Francis and I and another couple went to hear Melendez, and at the time we were aware that he had performed for the pope, which he did in 1987.
