Davenport artist to give paper cutting workshop

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — Paper snowflake artist Keith Bonnstetter of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Davenport will offer a paper cutting workshop Feb. 28 in Farrell Hall at St. Pius X Parish. The event begins at 5:30 p.m.
The workshop is part of the fourth annual Transformed by Grace Sacred Art Show and Sale. Twenty-two Catholic artists from four states will have their traditional, devotional, contemporary and inspirational religious art on display Feb. 28 from 2-7 p.m. and March 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
During the art show, artist demonstrations on paiting and iconography will be available. Poetry, vocal and instrumental performances also will be held.
Space is limited for Bonnstetter’s workshop and cost is $5. Registration can be made at jmr415@dishmail.net.
Twenty percent of the artists’ sales at the weekend show will support the Art of Faith programs.
A Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch will be available.
