Davenport — Young writers who wish to experiment with a variety of creative techniques are invited to participate in St. Ambrose University’s Young Writer’s Camp this summer. The camp, intended for students entering grades 3-9, will take place July 13 through 17, from 8:30-11:30 a.m., in McMullen Hall. Wheatland — Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat will host a Summer Solstice Taize’ Vigil Service June 17 at 6:30 p.m. Taize’ is an ecumenical movement which draws Christians of all denominations together in compassionate prayer.
