Burlington — Cafe (Catholic Adult Fellowship Evening) will continue Dec. 16 with a kickoff to Christmas. The event begins at 6:45 p.m. in the Notre Dame cafeteria.
Davenport — St. Paul the Apostle Parish is hosting a holiday healing prayer service Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m. Open to the public.

Iowa City — Mourn the loss of a child Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in Lower City Park’s warming house (Shelter 8). The candlelight vigil will include words of remembrance, music and a moment of silence. Moline, Ill. — The Secular Discalced Carmelite Community of St. Joseph and the Prophet Elijah are hosting a study of prayer in the tradition of St. Theresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross the second Sunday of each month at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Wheatland — On Dec. 16, take part in an Advent Taize’ Vigil Service at 6:30 p.m at Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat. David Haas is the special guest artist for the event. Davenport — St. Anthony Parish is hosting a Christmas concert featuring the adult choir, youth choir and youth string ensemble Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. A reception in the parish center will follow. No cost to attend. Additionally, the parish will have a Prelude to Christmas program on Christmas Eve from 3:15 p.m. until the start of Mass at 4. It will feature a nativity play, performances by the youth choir and youth string ensemble and the youth liturgical dancers. The adult choir will have a Prelude to Christmas program at 10:30 p.m. before the 11 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve.
Davenport — Our Lady of Victory adult choir will present its seasonal music concert at 3 p.m., Dec. 20, in the church. Admission is free.
Iowa City — Young Adult Catholics (Y.A.C.) meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 7:30-9 p.m. at St. Patrick Church in the Zaga Room downstairs.
Iowa City — The Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly 267 will host a breakfast with Santa Claus event Dec. 12 from 8 a.m.-noon at the KC Hall on American Legion Road. Guests are asked to bring an unwrapped gift for a boy or girl to help needy families this Christmas. Free will donation for breakfast.
