Bishop’s Mass for Scouting

Davenport — The Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting invites all Catholic scouts, leaders and their families to the Bishop’s Mass for Scouting Feb. 28 at Sacred Heart Cathe­dral. The Mass begins at 2 p.m.
Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Campfire Girls and Boys and American Heritage Girls are invited to come in uniform. There will be an acknowledgment of scouts who have earned Catholic religious emblems. A brief reception will follow in the lower level of the parish center.

  1. Who can I talk to about my concerns with why our diocese allowing GSUSA, who is a member of WAGGGS , and pays annual fees for support? Also Boy Scouts of America who now is a contributing member and supportive of homosexual agenda and also allowing gay scout leaders to influence these young boys. There are Christian alternatives.
    I appreciate a response.
