Davenport — St. Paul the Apostle Parish is hosting a grief ministry for those enduring any type of hurt. The group meets on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in McEleney Hall. Davenport — The Christian Service Committee of Our Lady of Victory Parish is sponsoring an ecumenical renewal day for all adults with disabilities and their family and friends. This spiritual event will take place on Feb. 27 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the parish center. Cost is $15 for retreatants and $10 for volunteers. Davenport — Our Lady of Victory Parish-Davenport is hosting Christian Experience Weekends (CEWs) for women and men. The women’s weekend is Feb. 5-7 and the men’s weekend is March 4-6. The weekends begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening and end Sun­day afternoon at 4:30 p.m. Cost is $35 and includes meals, snacks and refreshments and comfortable sleeping quarters with shower facilities. Iowa City — Iowa City Young Adult Catholics in conjunction with St. Patrick Knights of Columbus Council No. 14481 are hosting a Mardi Gras Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Feb. 7 from 8 a.m. to noon in St. Patrick’s social hall. Proceeds will help the young adults pay their way for World Youth Day in Poland this summer. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for youths 4 years and older and free for children under 4 years old.
Bettendorf — St. John Vianney is hosting Lenten Fish Friday dinner Feb. 12 and March 11. Includes baked fish, fish tacos and shrimp tacos from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Dinners range from $8-10. Kids’ meal of grilled cheese for $4. Also, they will host a trivia night Feb. 6. Doors open 6, trivia at 7. $80 for team of 8 or $10 per player. Both events are at the parish activity center.
LeClaire — Our Lady of the River Parish is hosting a fish fry after 6 p.m. Mass on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 10. Suggested donation for adults is $10; $4 for children under 10 years of age. Carry outs available.
