Davenport — St. Anthony Parish is hosting a concert March 20 at 4 p.m. It will be a Lenten concert by the St. Anthony’s adult choir. Coinciding with Palm Sunday, It will feature the Passion of St. John, by William Byrd, and other Lenten selections. The concert will be followed by a dessert reception in the Parish Center. Davenport — Msgr. Kevin Irwin, S.T.D., will deliver a lecture, “The Eucharist is Justice,” March 8 at 7 p.m. at St. Ambrose University’s Rogalski Center. He is the past Dean of the College of Theology and Religious Studies at the Catholic University of America and worked with the Environmental Justice Committee of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in the 1990s. His most recent research interests concern the intersection of a theology of ecology with the church’s celebration of the sacred liturgy and the sacraments. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Davenport — The Christian Service Committee of Our Lady of Victory Parish is sponsoring an ecumenical renewal day for all adults with disabilities and their family and friends. This spiritual event will take place on Feb. 27 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the parish center. Cost is $15 for retreatants and $10 for volunteers.
