Clinton – The Franciscan Peace Center’s ongoing Social Justice Film Fest continues June 16 with Guns, Greed and the NRA. The film looks into gun tragedies that include unintentional shootings, domestic violence, suicides, mass shootings and trafficking – and what we can do to put an end to this profit-driven crisis. The film starts at 6:30 p.m. at The Canticle, home of the Sisters of St. Francis.

Peosta, Iowa – Divine Word College Seminary in Epworth, Iowa, is hosting a golf outing July 22 at Timberline Golf Course. The event will consist of four-person, 18 hole best shot play with an evening social and dinner. Cost per golfer is $80 and includes golf, card, prizes and steak dinner.
