Muscatine — A healing Mass will be held July 14 at St. Mathias Church (215 W. 8th St.). Confessions at 6 p.m., praise and worship music at 6:30 p.m., Mass at 7 p.m. After Mass, stay and have the opportunity to be prayed over by one of the prayer ministry teams for physical, emotional or spiritual healing or for a greater release of the Holy Spirit in your life.
Bettendorf — Widows and Widowers from St. John Vianney Parish in Bettendorf meet the third Wednesday of each month at noon in the dining room at Bettendorf Hy-Vee, 2900 Devils Glen Road. Purchase what you want for lunch. This is a time of hospitality. The group hopes you will join them. Bring a friend.
Davenport — St. Alphonsus Parish Altar & Rosary Society will hold its annual retreat Aug. 29. “From Rupture to Redemption: Knowing God and being Known by God” will be presented by Father Bob Miller and Dr. Mark Nemo. The retreat will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the parish. Cost is $10 and includes a sack lunch. Please bring a Bible. Clinton — The Catholic Historical Center will host a special day at the museum for anyone who was involved with the former St. Mary Parish and its parishioners. The event will take place July 24 from 3-7 p.m. in conjunction with the Knights of Columbus corn boil.
