Muscatine — Theology on Tap’s ADVENT-ageous series will take place on Thursdays through Dec. 21 at Missipi Brew from 7-9 p.m. The series is designed to stimulate the mind and heart for Advent.
Bettendorf — Find help and encouragement after the death of a loved one. Grief Share is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to help you rebuild your life. St. John Vianney Parish’s Health Ministry will begin a new 13-week Grief Share program on Jan. 14 from 2-4 p.m. in the East Room (lower level of church office).

Davenport – A Healing Mass is celebrated on the fourth Wednesday of every month at St. Mary Parish. A bilingual Mass will be celebrated at 5:15 p.m., followed by adoration and prayers for healing. Confessions will be heard before Mass through Communion.
Davenport – A Healing Mass is celebrated the second Thursday of the month at 1 p.m. at Eagles’ Wings. Adoration is at noon and confessions before Mass.
Iowa City — The Iowa City Catholic Worker and St. Thomas More Stephen Ministry invite you to a special Blue Christmas Service Dec. 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Catholic Worker House, 1414 Sycamore St. The service will be a quiet reflection of Scripture readings and songs of hope and comfort. A potluck dinner will follow.

Applications for the Marguerite Ritzinger Scholarship of the Diocese of Davenport are being accepted now through Feb. 1, 2018. Any Catholic individual who plans to attend a college or university next fall may apply for a $1,000 scholarship. Applications must include an essay, copy of a high school or college transcript and two reference letters — all sent together along with the application form.
