Rejoice in the Lord

To the Editor:

How blessed we have been. Much would have been missing from our lives if we had not been active in our churches, if we had not the gift of faith and the privilege of practicing our faith. Many of us have participated in formal worship in our churches through the years. That continues to be where the joy in the Lord is found, in the house of the Lord, in the sanctuary of the church. Nehemiah 8:10 states “Do not be saddened this day, for rejoicing in the LORD is your strength!”

We have all been strengthened by our faith. This has given us purpose, meaning and direction in our lives. We want to remember to talk to our Beloved during the day and evening time, speaking as we would to a friend, telling our blessed Lord of our love for him, with reference being made here to Jesus, our savior.

Each person is very important to God. We know that no other person has the same voice, fingerprints, thumbprints, handwriting, DNA and eye scans. These factors are the individualistic and unique qualities that we are given by our creator.
