Funeral services and a Mass of Christian burial for Marjorie M. (Whalen) Adrian, 97, formerly of Davenport, will be Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St., Davenport.
Marjorie died Sept. 7, 2009 in Ballwin, Mo. She was a member of St. Gerard Majella Church, Kirkwood, Mo. While living in Davenport she was a member of Holy Family Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Catholics Women’s League, St. Vincent Mother’s Club and The Whalen Sisters Trio, which later became The Bell Sisters Trio.
Marjorie is survived by her son Lawrence of Ballwin, Mo., eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Adrian was preceded in death by her husband Eldon, son Michael, daughter Karen Ann and sister Frances Hardi. May they rest in peace.
