Robert W. “Robb” Russman, 29, of Davenport died April 24, 2011 at his residence. 

Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Robb will be Friday, April 29, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Davenport. Visitation will be Thursday, April 28th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street, downtown Davenport.  During the visitation a prayer service will be offered at 5:30 p.m. which all are invited to attend.  Honoring his wish, cremation will take place following the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anthony’s Care and Share program which provides meals for those in need. 

Robert William Russman was born June 16, 1981 son of Richard and Maxine (Hirsch) Russman. Robb was a graduate of North Scott High School and attended Scott Community College. He worked as a barista at several coffee houses including the River Music Experience (RME) and Starbuck’s.

Robb enjoyed photography and reading.  He was sensitive and caring, had many friends and enjoyed a very close relationship with his sister.  His playful, fun-loving spirit made him a wonderful uncle to his niece and nephew Ben and Katy, whom he adored.

Those left to honor his memory include his parents Rich and Maxine of Davenport; his sister and brother-in-law Frank and Mandy (Russman) Babcock and their children Ben and Katy, all of Bettendorf; his grandmother Margaret Hirsch, Dodgeville, WI; his aunt “Becky” Rebecca Russman and her daughters, Lori (Scott) Reem, Davenport, Julie (Rusty) Van Wetzinga, Bettendorf, and MaryJo (Paul) Martinez, Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Regina Russman and grandfather Leonard Hirsch.
