Davenport — St. Ambrose University is hosting an open house for prospective students and their families Feb. 16 from 8:45 a.m. to noon in the Rogalski Center. Coaches, professors and staff will be on-hand to answer questions. The morning will also include financial aid information and a campus tour. Optional tours of the Galvin Fine Arts Center or Center for Health Science Education will be available at 11:45 a.m. for those considering careers in the fine arts or health sciences.

Burlington – The CAFÉ (Catholic Adult Fellowship Evening) will be closed Feb. 18 for Ash Wednesday.
Davenport — Sacred Heart Cathedral is hosting the following weekly holy hours: prayers for our country Sundays from 8 to 9 p.m.; hour of divine mercy Sundays from 3 to 4 p.m.; praying for priests, seminarians and the Davenport Diocese Thursdays at 8:45 a.m.
Davenport — A healing Mass will take place Feb. 19 at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 7 p.m. Praise music begins at 6 p.m., and the sacrament of reconciliation will be offered at 6 p.m.
Davenport — St. Paul the Apostle Parish is hosting the following: Project Rachel adoration hours the third Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.; Circle of Love charismatic prayer group Thursdays at 7 p.m.
Keokuk — All Saints Parish is reciting the rosary Feb. 18 and 25 at 7 p.m.
Bettendorf — St. John Vianney Parish is hosting a GriefShare grief support group from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday afternoons from Feb. 22 to May 24. There will be no meeting Easter Sunday. Persons are welcome to begin attending the group at any point. Each session is “self-contained,” so participants will not have to attend in sequence. Clinton — St. Edward’s Knights of Columbus Council #707 will host Lenten fish fries every Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Boniface Hall. Cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children ages 4 through 12 and free for children under 4 years old. Cost for a shrimp dinner is $10. Carryout available. The Ladies Auxiliary will host a bake sale during the fish fries.
Davenport — St. Alphonsus Parish will host lenten fish fries Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m. from Feb. 20 to March 27. Cost is $9 for adults and $4 for children.
Iowa City — Knights of Columbus Council #842 will host a pre-Lenten fish fry Feb. 13 from 5-7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Family Center. Call (319) 341-9097 for more information.
LeClaire — Knights of Columbus of Our Lady of the River Parish will host a fish fry on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 18, after the 6 p.m. Mass. Free-will offering; suggested donation of $10 for adults.
Lone Tree — Parishes in Lone Tree and Nichols are jointly hosting a pancake breakfast March 1 at the Lone Tree American Legion from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children 6 through 12, and free for children under 5.
Muscatine — Ss. Mary & Mathias Parish is hosting a Jazz and Jambalaya Dinner Feb. 12 at Gannon Hall from 3 to 7 p.m. Dinner includes jambalaya, roast pork sandwiches, and a kids menu of hot dogs and chips. Cost is $7.50 for adults, $3 for kids 6 to 12 years old, and free for ages 5 and under. Raffle items available.
Preston — Ss. Mary & Joseph Parish, Sugar Creek is hosting an omelet and pancake breakfast Feb. 22 at Preston Town Hall from 7 a.m. to noon. Adults pay $7, children 6-12 pay $4, and children under 5 years old eat free. For tickets, call Elaine Burken at (563) 689-3105.
Riverside — St. Mary Parish is hosting a pancake breakfast Feb. 22 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 to 10, and children under 5 eat free. Proceeds benefit St. Mary’s Education Center Building Fund.
West Liberty — Knights of Columbus of St. Joseph Parish are hosting fish fries Fridays from 5 to 7 p.m. from Feb. 20 to March 27 at the Parish Life Center. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children under 5.
