Gratitude for Kahl Home

Facebooktwittermail

To the Editor:
Kompassion, Koncern, Karing: I have misspelled these words on purpose. Why? These words reflect the “K” in kindness of the staff of the Kahl Home in Davenport toward their patients and residents.
My family thought the Kahl Home would be too expensive for rehab, skilled care for our mother, who is on Medicare. Medicare patients, with regular Medicare and a secondary insurance that covers skilled care, and verified by the nursing home, can spend up to 100 days at this wonderful facility.
There are not enough words to say thank you to the loving staff, for my mom’s physical and emotional needs were met.
We could discuss the woes of a previous nursing home stay at a different facility, however, our focus is toward the positive side: nurses who recognize changes in their patients, CNAs who treat their patients with dignity and staff who always seems to smile. Look to the Kahl Home for skilled care, for compassionate care.
