BETTENDORF — Mothers Matter! That is the point of a new fundraising initiative of the Women’s Choice Center.
Jessica Ricke, development director of the pro-life center, said organizers are encouraging people to honor their mothers, grandmothers, godmothers or any woman by donating to the center.
In addition to making a donation of any amount, donors may send a photo and message to the center through email or mail. Photos and tributes will appear on the center’s website at www.womenschoicecenter.com. Go to “the ways to get involved” tab and then to the Mothers Matter tab.
“She’s the woman who chose you, loved you and nurtured you. She’s a woman of grace, wisdom, and strength. She kissed your boo-boos and held the cure for a broken heart. Mothers come in all shapes, sizes and colors,” Ricke said.
Photos and/or a message for posting can be emailed to Jessica@womenschoicecenter.org, sent by mail to the Women’s Choice Center, PO Box 549, Bettendorf, IA 52722 or by calling (563) 332-0475. Please include contact information. Photos and messages will be uploaded to the website as they arrive.
