To the Editor:
Today was a special day. I want to thank all the priests in the Diocese of Davenport and all in the world; for today was a great day for my soul in the fact that I was allowed to receive the sacrament of reconciliation, confession. It was a great joy to my soul and the priest, representing Christ, gave me absolution.
And so I want to express once again a sincere thank you to all the priests that read this and that their vocation to follow Christ as a priest is greatly appreciated. My prayers of thanksgiving continue to all of the priests that have brought Jesus to me in the sacrifice of the Mass, reconciliation and all the other sacraments throughout my life. God bless and thank you for being a priest.
