St. Mary Parish in Centerville and St. Patrick Parish in Melrose are celebrating their 150th anniversaries this year, and the parishes are hosting Nuns 4 Fun Entertainment as part of a year-long celebration.

The Chicago-based Nuns 4 Fun Entertainment will perform “Bible Bingo” Jan. 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the Centerville High School auditorium (Simon Estes Auditorium). The interactive, comedic show features the character of Mrs. Mary Margaret O’Brien, a former nun and current bingo caller. “It’s a one-person play with audience participation,” said Father Timothy Armbruster, C.PP.S., pastor of the Centerville parish. “We will play seven games of Bingo and, in between games, share humor and Catholic tradition. The stage is set as a classroom.”

Tickets are available through the parish office and at the door. The cost is $25 per ticket.
