DAVENPORT — All Saints Catholic School’s annual taco dinner scheduled for Nov. 19 will be a to-go event this year. Funds raised from the sale of tacos go to support the school’s gala, which is the biggest fundraiser for the school.

Clare Holladay, parent and volunteer at All Saints, said the change from an in-person dinner to carry-out-only is necessary because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Customers may pick up their taco dinners from 4:30-6 p.m. Nov. 21 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. The dinner consists of three tacos, chips and salsa and a dessert for $5.

Customers wearing face masks may enter the parish hall to pick up their meals or use the drive-through option. To pre-pay and make orders in advance, call All Saints Catholic School at (563) 324-3205 or Sacred Heart Cathedral at (563) 324-3257 by Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. Customers may also make orders and pay for them on site the day of the meal. In past years, organizers have served more than 200 meals.

Holladay said the school thanks its generous sponsors, Navarros Foods and Ganzo’s, for their contributions.
