The success of Christianity in America

Facebooktwittermail

To the editor:

Recently, Patrick Schmadeke, director of Evangelization in our diocese, wrote a rather lengthy article about the controversy of Christianity in America. He covered all points that he stated we are faced with today.

We discussed this article in depth within our extended family and arrived at the following conclusion:

Why should we spend so much time doubting the success of Christianity in America, when we are one of the most giving, charitable and generous countries in the world?  Instead of trying to cover all the flaws in America, we should be spending a lot more time counting the ways we are blessed, and ways we can continue to do good. Accent the positive, and eliminate or downplay the negative. These comments, according to my family, say it all!
